Hi, I’m Markus

I’m Markus. I hiked Portugal’s Fishermen’s Trail as my first ever multi-day hike, and drove Iceland’s Ring Road in a campervan. I’m based in Munich and have been exploring Europe’s most scenic routes solo for the past two decades.

My focus is the kind of travel that takes preparation — long-distance hikes, campervan road trips, destinations where the best moments happen off the main path. I write about what I actually experienced, not what looks good in a brochure.

The guides I sell are built the same way: real routes, honest accommodation picks, and the practical detail you only get from someone who has actually been there — including what didn’t go as planned.
